RiverIT requires that each Web site user understand and agree to the following:

(1) The Web site shall not be used to store pornographic material. Sites containing adult material, although not necessarily pornographic, are also prohibited.
(2) These servers may NOT be used for the sending of unsolicited e-mail (spam). We have a strict policy of not hosting any sites that participate in "spamming".
(3) The Web site shall not be used for gambling or any other practice deemed illegal by the laws of the Singapore Government.
(4) The Web site shall not be used to store or disseminate material of a threatening or slanderous nature.
(5) RiverIT reserves the right to deactivate any Web site account at any time, if the account is in violation of RiverIT operation procedures.
(6) In fairness to other virtual server users, exceptionally busy sites receiving over 1 gigabyte of data transfer per day, must be either moved to a dedicated server or just removed from the RiverIT.com servers.
(7) Billing begins when your server is configured and on-line. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for Web design. Web design is not included in the setup charge.
(8) Virtual Server fees do not include the registration of a domain name.
(9) You can cancel your subscription at any time however you A) must use provide a one month written notice in advance or call our main-line at (65)-64821223 and B) understand that all cancellations are done on the last day of the month the cancellation is registered.
(10) For StartA Plan, there is no refund for premature termination. For Web Appliance Plan, the subscriber will still need to pay the remaining months of subscription fees for premature termination.
(11) Your use of your RiverIT.com Virtual Server constitutes acceptance of our Webpolicy Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that you have read these documents and abide by the provisions.

We welcome you to host your websites on our servers. At the same time, all web sites must conform to the following policy.

Client: Customers subscribing to RiverIT’s services.
Clients receiving, accessing to the RiverIT's services, agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Client using RiverIT's services will need to bide with any and all applicable laws of The Republic of Singapore.
2. RiverIT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deactivate the Client's service(s) upon an indication of credit problems including delinquent payments.
3. RiverIT is not responsible for Client's files residing on RiverIT. Client is solely responsible for independent backup of data stored on RiverIT.
4. RIVERIT'S SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS, AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. THIS GIVES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, FOR THE SERVICES , INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR. THIS NO WARRANTY EXPRESSLY INCLUDES ANY REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOSSES OF INCOME DUE TO DISRUPTION OF SERVICE BY RIVERIT OR ITS PROVIDERS BEYOND THE FEES PAID BY CLIENT TO RIVERIT FOR SERVICES.
5. RiverIT is not liable for any damages arising from Client's use of RiverIT or by Client's inability to use the services for any reason.
6. Client hereby agrees that any material submitted for publication on RiverIT will not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, statutory, common law or propriety rights of others or contain anything libelous or harmful. Any potentially illegal activity will be deactivated without warning by RiverIT. Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RiverIT for any claim resulting from the submission of illegal materials.
7. Client hereby agrees that any material submitted for publication on RiverIT will not contain anything such as, but not limited to, pornography, obscenity, nudity, violations of privacy, computer viruses and any harassing and or harmful materials, which are considered to be abusive and unethical users of the Internet Service(s). Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RiverIT from any claim resulting from client’s publications of materials or client’s use of those materials. RiverIT will deactivate the use of client’s account(s) without notice when RiverIT decides the abusive or unethical use of the Internet Services or deemed violation of the terms of service.
8. Due to the public nature of the Internet, all information should be considered publicly accessible, and important or private information should be treated carefully. RIVERIT is not liable for protection or privacy of electronic mail or other information transferred through the Internet or any other network provider or its customers may utilize.
9. Use of distribution lists via unsolicited electronic mail or other mass electronic mailings is strictly prohibited. RiverIT reserves the right to deactivate the Client's account(s) upon an indication of such activity. Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RiverIT from any claim resulting from the Client's or another party's use of electronic mail service(s) on the Client's account(s).
10. RiverIT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special consequential or exemplary damages including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible loss
11. RiverIT maintains control and any ownership of any and all IP numbers and addresses that may be assigned to Client and reserves in its sole discretion the right to change or remove any and all IP numbers and addresses.
12. Either party shall be entitled to terminate this Contract without cause at any time by service of one month’s notice in writing to the other party..
13. When an order is placed to RiverIT by the Client, it is assumed that the Client accepts this Service Contract.
